Becky (Rebecca) Andrews, ND, LAc, LMP
Naturopathic Physician, Acupuncturist, and Massage Therapist

For full information about me and my practice, please visit my website at:

I am Dr. Becky Andrews, and I have been practicing as a physician and acupuncturist for 5 years. I have been working as a healer in some capacity since 1994 when I began my study of massage therapy and the healing arts.

I earned both my Naturopathic and Acupuncture degrees at Bastyr University. I have a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky. I received my massage training at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy.

Some of my earliest introduction to natural medicine was in massage school where I was introduced to both Chinese medicine and herbal medicine. I have been lucky enough to study herbal medicine with master herbalists in Boulder, CO and the Amazon basin, Peru.

My pre-medical background includes dance, music, spirituality, and indigenous healing traditions.

Clinical Interests

  • General medicine
  • Physical medicine and pain management
  • Chronic fatigue / fibromyalgia
  • Environmental medicine / detoxification
  • Women's health

I blend Eastern, Western, traditional, and contemporary healing philosophies and therapies into a truly individualized approach for each patient. Treatments with me will often combine conventional medicine, naturopathic medicine, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and physical medicine modalities.

I believe that my role as a physician is to empower patients in their unique journey toward the optimal health of their body, mind and spirit. I find this is best achieved by collaborating as an equal partner in the healing process of each patient, removing the obstacles to health, and supporting the innate ability and wisdom of each person to heal themselves.

I also believe that our bodies have an innate wisdom, and tend toward a state of balance and health if there are no obstacles in the way. Symptoms of disease are our body’s way of communicating that something is out of balance. Imbalance can be anything from nutrient deficiencies and toxic burden to improper diet choices and non-productive thought habits. One other thing I feel pretty sure of, is that illness and disease are rarely, if ever, due to a deficiency in a prescription drug. That is not to say that prescription drugs and surgery do not have a place in healing, on the contrary, I am a big fan of conventional medicine. Conventional medicine saves lives. In spite of the heroic interventions, I rarely see conventional medicine facilitate either a true cure or a return to balance and true health.

I value the genuine connection I have with my patients. My office is a nurturing and safe environment where patients feel empowered and respected as individuals, but also challenged to move forward in their journey toward optimal health. My office is a place of laughter, exploration, challenges, transformation and growth!

I look forward to working with you!

I serve as adjunct faculty at Bastyr University, teaching massage, physical medicine, minor surgery, and botanical medicine.

I also served on the board of directors for the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians from 2006-2008.
